Built on integrity.
Growing through generations.
Since 1994, LimeCo has grown through dependable supply, honest relationships and a belief that every customer should be treated with genuine care.
A small supplier.
A lasting vision.
In 1994, Leon Coertze founded LimeCo in Phoenix Industrial Park, north of Durban. The company began as an appointed agent for Cape Lime, serving only a small group of customers.
Leon believed that a company could grow by providing quality products, standing behind every promise and treating customers with respect. Those principles became the foundation of LimeCo.
Three decades of
steady growth.
LimeCo’s history is a story of practical expansion—more products, stronger facilities, wider distribution and relationships that continued across generations.

In memory of
our founder.
For almost three decades, Leon devoted himself to building more than a successful business. He built a company that customers trusted, a workplace where people felt respected and a reputation founded on honesty, hard work and genuine relationships.
His leadership was measured not only by the growth of LimeCo, but by the way he treated people—with kindness, humility and unwavering integrity.
Although Leon is no longer with us, the values he lived by continue to shape LimeCo every day. His legacy lives on in every customer helped, every promise kept and every generation that carries the company forward.
Modern tools.
The same values.
Today, LimeCo continues building on the foundation established in 1994. The company is investing in better customer experiences, improved digital systems and new ways to support its staff and customers.
The technology may change, but the standard remains the same: honest advice, dependable supply, personal service and relationships that last.
